Select Bruins Authentics items will be available to bid on via online auctions. All online auctions will run for 3 days on BostonProShop.com, starting at 10am EST and ending at 10am EST. At the end of each auction, the highest bidder will win and must checkout within 3 hours of the auction ending.

New Users


I am new to Bruins Authentics & BostonProShop.com: Where do I start?

Everyone is invited to browse or search through our auction categories and listing for items on Bruins Authentics Online Auction. If you see something you would like to bid on, you must be 18 years or older and register by creating a Boston ProShop account, if you do not already have one. Don’t worry! Account creation is free and easy. Your registration will create your Bruins Authentics account which can be used to bid on auctions.

How can I find the items that are currently being auctioned?

All current and previous auctions can be found at BostonProShop.com/auctions.

What is the Bruins Authentics Auction Privacy Policy?

The information bidders provide to Bruins Authentics Online Auction will be maintained and used in accordance with the Privacy Policy located at: https://bostonproshop.com/privacy-policy/.

Registration


May I browse auction listings without creating a BostonProShop.com account?

Yes, you can browse as you’d like without creating an account. A BostonProShop.com account is only required if you would like to place a bid.

Do I need to create an account to place a bid?

To participate in an auction sale all bidders must have a registered account with BostonProShop.com and be logged in to participate.

How do I create an account on BostonProShop.com?

It takes just a few minutes. To complete the process, you will need to provide us with your Name, Email Address, full address, phone number and create a password. You can change your user-specific password at any time by editing your Profile Information in Account Settings. If you would like to register now, click here: Create Account.

What do I do if I have forgotten my username and/or password?

If you have registered before but do not remember your username and/or password, you can have it sent to you via email by clicking Sign In > Forgot your password? and entering the email address associated with the account.

Why wasn’t I re-directed to the auction page after I created a new account on BostonProShop.com?

Once you create an account you will be directed to your account page. To go back to the auction page simply click on “Auction” in the navigation at the top of the page.

Bidding


How can I submit a bid?

Once you have logged into your BostonProShop.com account, visit the auction page and click on the listing you would like to bid on. Click on “Bid Now” and follow the directions to enter and confirm your bid.

What payment methods are accepted?

We accept American Express, Mastercard, Visa and Discover credit cards.

Do I need to enter my credit card information to place a bid?

The bidding process does not require you to enter your credit card information, however, once a bid is placed it cannot be retracted so please review your bid before submitting. At the close of an auction period the highest bidder will be notified via email that they have won the rights to purchase the item as the highest bidder in that particular auction. The email will provide instructions on how to add the item to their cart to checkout, and will remind them that they have three (3) hours to complete the check out process.

What currency are values displayed in?

All prices shown on the Bruins Authentics Online Auction are in USD.

Can my ProShop discount be applied to my auction purchase?

No ProShop discounts are eligible for any Authentics purchases.

How long is each auction open for?

All auctions will be open for bidding for a period of three (3) days or 72 hours total.

What is the ‘Minimum Starting Bid’?

A ‘Minimum Starting Bid’ is the minimum acceptable amount that is required for a bidder to place a bid on an item.

I have confirmed my bid, but it tells me it is invalid. Why?

There are two reasons why your bid could be considered invalid:

  1. You have entered an invalid value in the "Bid Amount" field. Make sure that your bid amount contains only numbers and decimal points, i.e. 45.00. Do not enter any dollar signs ($) or commas (,) into the Bid Amount field.
  2. Your bid amount is less than the "Highest Bid" value. Make sure that your bid is at least $20 greater than the current "Highest Bid" value shown on the listing page.

How can I view all bids I have submitted?

Visit BostonProShop.com/auctions and click on “My Bids”. From here you can view all live auctions (winning or losing) in which a bid has been placed, as well as closed auctions that you have won or lost.

Is my bid visible to others?

Your maximum bid (if you are the current high bidder) will be shown to other bidders. However, this will include bid amount only. There will be no information visible to identify users associated with each bid.

Can I retract a confirmed bid?

If the same bidding amount is entered, the bid placed earlier in time takes priority over all bids at the same price. It can be to your advantage to get an initial bid in as early as possible to ensure time priority at your bid price.

Why was my bid rejected?

Bruins Authentics Online Auction reserves the right to reject any and all bids in its sole discretion. If you have any questions regarding a rejected bid, please email us at Authentics@BostonBruins.com.

Why did a bid from earlier today beat my bid?

If the same bidding amount is entered, the bid placed earlier in time takes priority over all bids at the same price. It can be to your advantage to get an initial bid in as early as possible to ensure time priority at your bid price.

Can I submit another bid at a higher amount if my initial bid amount was outbid?

Yes. If your current bid amount has been outbid, you can place another bid at a higher amount. To increase your current bid amount, simply return to the listing and enter and submit a new, higher bid amount.

Why did a bid from earlier today beat my bid?

Will I be charged tax on my winning item(s)?

If you are the winner, applicable taxes will be charged on the final purchase price of an item. For international shipping, the buyer is responsible for all duties and fees.

Do all auctions close at exactly the scheduled closing time?

Yes. All auctions will close at the end of the three-day auction period.

Why does the page refresh when I try to place a bid?

If you place a bid below the next highest bid amount, the page will refresh and notify you to bid higher than the current highest bid amount.

After the Auction


How do I find out if an auction has ended?

All products that have been auctioned can be found on BostonProShop.com/auctions. If an auction has ended, “This Auction Has Ended” will be stated in the product listing.

How will I know if I win?

At the close of an auction period the highest bidder will be notified via email that they have won the rights to purchase the item as the highest bidder in that particular auction. The winner of the auction will have three (3) hours to complete the checkout process before the item is offered to the next highest bidder. To complete the checkout process, click on the link provided in the email. This will bring you to the listing page and give you the option to add the item to your cart. You must be signed into your BostonProShop.com account in order to add the item to your cart. Once the item is added to your cart, click “Check Out” and enter your Shipping and Billing information.

What happens if I win an auction, but don’t complete the checkout process within three (3) hours?

Failure to complete the checkout process within the allotted three-hour period will result in the item being removed from the Bidder’s online shopping cart and offered to the next highest Bidder. The next highest Bidder will be notified via email that they have won the auction item and that they now have three hours to purchase the item.

I have won an auction and completed the checkout process, when will I receive my item?

Once an auction item has been purchased, Bruins Authentics will ship the item to the purchaser via FedEx at no cost to the purchaser if shipped within the U.S. If shipping internationally, the purchaser will need to pay for the cost of shipping via FedEx. International shipping rates and delivery times may vary depending on location.

I have purchased and received an auction item, can I return it?

All sales are final and no returns, refunds or exchanges will be accepted
