Description
The Boston Bruins organization is turning 100! As part of the celebration, we have created a limited-edition product line inspired by a century’s worth of iconic moments. By Patrick King Woollen Company.
Tartan is an iconic and beloved symbol representing Family, Community, Competitiveness and above all else, the Warrior Spirit. Tartan’s strongly defined pattern is built from intersecting lines of colors (thread counts), which can interpret significant information about its membership. Each band of color is created from the number of threads identifying special dates, accomplishments and milestones uniting players, supporters, the NHL family and the Warrior Spirit as represented within the National Hockey League for generations. The Boston Bruins, one of the "Original Six" and the first American team to join the NHL played its first game on December 1, 1924. We have used these dates as the thread counts within the tartan 12-01-19-24 and 06 for the number of Stanley Cups currently won.
This Deluxe Highland Blanket is made of Merino Wool and Measures 69" x 62". Patrick King Woollen Company is a member of the Scottish Tartan Authority, and all of their tartans are registered with The Scottish Tartan Registry.
